Extracurricular activities are integral part of the school curriculum. They help to produce children who are emotionally stable, socially fit; morally, spiritually and educationally sound.We have functional clubs and societies in the school. Prominent among them are: the cub scout, The Brownie Park, Red Cross Society, Human Right Club, Creative Art Club, Home economics, reading, music, Taekwondo, football club drama, cultural club. Press e.t.c. every child is made to belong to two or more of the clubs and societies.
The provisional Council of the University of Lagos made a request to the federal Ministry of Education in 1966 to start a primary school for the children of staff of the University.
